Care Associate (Behavioral Health)

This is a non-clinical position on the Autism Care Team,
providing customer support and service to the behavioral health clinical autism teams in support of optimal member care and provider partnerships.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Process and record receipt of clinical requests and
assign for review.
  • Facilitates follow-up calls for additional information from
providers.
  • Assists clinical staff in locating services for members
through provider searches.
  • Provides information to clinical staff regarding results of
provider or resource searches.
  • Monitor fax/email mailboxes and tasking buckets.
  • Submits PIN requests for providers not listed in the
system.
  • Assigns cases to clinicians.
  • Collaborates with clinical staff on administrative
processes.
  • Forwards documents to be attached to clinical cases.
  • Creates new cases based on new requests.
  • May participate in reporting or data collection with
projects.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 19.50
Maximum: 40.10

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years working with behavioral health

Preferred Qualifications
  • Understands psychology and medical terminology
  • Previous Managed Care experience, familiarity with
managed care documentation systems
  • Previous experience working with plan benefit structures
  • Associates Degree

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent GED
